GR translation: round black iron

P70.1-2  ..., give it all to them or they'll blow it up round black iron in the middle of the night bleeding over Polacks in gray caps ...

Is the "round black iron" a big bomb or something else entirely?  Are the "Polacks in gray caps" communists?
