Wyatt's has a defense-reaction to any attention paid to his hands.
This is inherited from his father: Rev. Gwyon is regularly caught
putting his hands behind his back as though he's got a murder weapon
in them. The hand of the artist (the artist's "signature") is also
the "hand of fate." Which grip or grasp the Gwyons are apparently
desperate to elude.
