Reclusion as marketing ploy - tired trope

every now 'n' then this comes up...
often I pass on saying anything, but I think my thought's evolved a little
since last time I weighed in, or at least maybe I can say as much as I did
last time in fewer words (not off to a good start)
- point the first
if not paranoia then at least wariness and chariness vis a vis his best
friend's death and the many Events of the 60s (the French Events were much
cooler than our US Events of '68) when it seemed like everybody who was
majorly cool was being orffed - you had to really want the limelight with
the attrition rate so high -- and has that really changed?
- point the second
and - less time on display, more time for writing
- cherishable salient point: escaping out the window rather than give the
interview in Mexico
