Oh yeh, I suppose it goes without saying that there are some fatcats that are positioned to make a lot of money on the fall of the euro, that's to say they are leveraging against the euro markets and the euro. (Read up on those bond vigilantes bringing pressure to bear on countries like Spain and France.) And as I understand it this is not just another version of someone doing a Soros, ie making a lot of money on the devaluation of sterling (for which some Brits still blame him). Does it surprise anyone that several of them reside in the US? If ya want to learn more find out about John Paulson, Louis Bacon or Stephen Cohen; Alan Howard also but he moved to Switzerland to avoid taxes in the UK. It's hard being rich.
    And James Wood thought that Vibe was neither believeable nor frightening? PPfffff.
