AtD: Lew,a moral center

speaking of Lew --- does he ever experience any kind of a love life after
Troth?
I can't remember any.  Is his whole libido immersed in detection?

then too you have Merle, which maybe he's the other center (what's that
roundish shape with 2 centers?) - after his wife leaves him for the
magician, he's all about photography and science and making ends meet and
raising his daughter, although there's some kind of sex action for him in
California isn't there (which I dimly recall some discussion of it being
non-consensual...which I hadn't noticed until somebody brought it up)
