Chapter III of Siegel's study of paranoia in Whispers involves a scientist who has an apparent lifelong fascination with Tesla.
Incindently, I was rather surprised yesterday to note when someone mentioned that there are people who read Pynchon as being actually paranoid, or something to that effect? Not at all. Very fascinating phenomenon though, paranoia, and quite enjoyable to experience it without being consumed by it or taking any of its possible conclusions seriously.
