Ah, well that's interesting, I'd not thought in terms of archives.  More along the lines of a post may reside in a reader's mind for a few moments, then disappears and that's it.  A pity though that even brief flashes of cognition should be distorted by avoidable cruftations.  Wasted posts!
In the spirit of Archives, I'll send a following new post here for the sake of prosperity, in case the Pynchon Notes has not yet made the connection, which I doubt:
