socialism vs capitalism

I notice that the positive and negative responses to the various terms
in the survey are specifically to the words themselves, suggesting
that each of the terms are especially loaded. It might be an equally
revealing survey to somehow ferret out people's reactions to the ideas
involved within each term without the use of the loaded term. For
instance, "Do you have a positive or negative reaction to the idea of
government use of tax dollars for highway repair?" and so on.

trust in reason is a precarious faith, and that we are all fragments

than the simplest urchin in the streets." -- Will Durant
