Jack the Ripper and AtD

Howdy--

there seems to be a certain precedent for a time travelling jack the ripper
which is alluded to in AtD if I'm not mistaken (and was probably discussed
during the group read)--the malcolm mcdowell-david warner film Time After
Time is one instance.
Robert Bloch has written a number of similar works including A Toy for
Juliette (which I just read) which appeared in Harlan Ellison's Dangerous
Visions collection and of course the time travelling serial murderer in the
Star Trek episode Wolf in the Fold. Bloch's story A Most Unusual Murder the
Ripper appears as a traveller with a time machine.
