I love New York Woody Allen, but hated London Woody Allen and Paris 
Woody Allen.

It was indubitably the same Woody Allen, but out of context too much of 
it is just sort of annoying.

Bits of it were charming enough, but you had to wade through too much to 
get there.

Vulgar-American and Lost-Generation  stuff is such a cliche.

So, it was probably me, not it.
