I think "Ewball" is missing an "Scr", which
would make his name a double pun: a screw-
ball with a loose screw...triple, if you include
SCR from Pynchon's Signal Corps days, where
"SCR" signifies "system complete, radio" or, in
Ewball's case, not playing with a complete set.

sounds alot like counter-terrorism, too. didnt work for the french or
the US in iraq/afghan (as it didnt work in Vietnam--check out adam
curtis latest post The Rational Peasant)

nor i should mention, the IRA when they decided to branch out attacks
in Britain proper
