That Frank was offered a trophy, nice noticing re TRP seeing this in AtD. I just read it that section
and had already forgotten it until your example from our REAL real world life......
A...and...are killers Deuce and Sloat, co-fuckers at same time of Lake,
a TRP nod to homoeroticism?....between killers, esp?

also playing a part might be the homoerotic urge to expose oneself to
fellows one likes, and I think adrenaline (initially mistyped
"adrenalime" - might be an interesting combo) stimulates urination,
and it's an ancient byword - I remember people talking about watering
the funeral flowers when Reagan died, eg - must confess that like a
lot of ancient and modern bywords it doesn't really compute to me that
much, like that phrase in the King James Bible, in the Old Testament
where they talk about "destroying all who piss against the wall" or
something like that
weird things people do or say...
-- or like this sports clip I saw where Shaq after going up for a dunk
wraps his legs around the guy guarding him, humps his abdomen a little
bit and shoves him in the chest so the fellow ends up out of bounds,
all on the way down, it was part of the "10 great moments of
disrespect" on the TV in the gym locker room the other day and there
was a guy standing right by the locker my clothes were in so I got
caught up in watching it, but it struck me as a pretty weird thing to
do
-- or when you talk vigorously and vociferously to somebody they
might say you're chewing their ear or even chewing their butt which is
the furthest thing from your mind, if you're really just trying to
exert moral suasion verbally...
rather than peeing on Dick Cheney, eg, it'd be immensely more
satisfying to verbally persuade him to adopt pacifistic positions and
repudiate his warlike past and - like Nobel - have a care for
posterity and fund a Cheney Peace Prize, eg.
or like the story about the "v" sign in England, going back to one of
their incursions into France ("I fart in your general direction")
where the french cut off the archers' fingers and then the English
came back and beat the heck out of them, and ever since - for 700
years!! - there's apparently this gesture (this english guy who's
actually my supervisor, and friend, at work lately told me) where you
give the "V" sign but with palm facing in, and it's *still* taken as
this terrible insult
which I guess goes along with the "semiology" stuff and old Peirce
where meaning is assigned, it's not inherent in the sign. So thus the
importance of conventions, and thus the importance of objections to
such behavior...
