reception

Not so much a question of being a Nietzschean so much, because that would more specifically pin one to the concept of the will to power. I'm not myself convinced of the will to power. But again I may not understand what he means, and somebody may teach it to me, or I'll work it out on my own. Or not. Power permeates space, yes, the will, eh, little bit. Permeate a relative term I suppose. I didn't set down and meditate on the eternal recurrence, then figure it out. It was the last thing on my mind, hadn't thought about it in a long while, when it returned to me.
I'm saying that what is important is that one is an overman, or not. It's a Nietzschean term, but it's a good term to describe what I've already stated as the prerequisite for anything else.
But I also think that living fearless, joyous, and dangerous follow naturally out of understanding of the eternal recurrence.
Like I don't have enough going on right now, I think I'll dive into Foucault and his works on Madness, maybe bring that in while I try to get through AtD and GR. I may go back and finish GR first. If the opinion on AtD is somewhat split here, everyone seems to agree on the manifest greatness of GR, whatever some of its shortcomings may be.
