hmm, that one stood out for me, too...
not really sure what to make of it, obviously compared to what, an
army of haters I guess
t would be funny if they track warlikeness down to a virus
army of lovers wouldn't necessarily want to beat people (see Jessica
and Roger?)
the backdrop of the section being street fights between Nazis and
leftists, when you go out and beat on people to express your ideology
you probably are carrying the virus regardless of the fine points of
the ideology
yeah there's a weak point in my line, what about meeting a threat? --
is that paranoia or due diligence?

evocative phrase...maybe that's why they were so ready to hit the
streets, cruddy housing, a-and no p-list back then to solve world
problems on

so they have ol' Rathenau talking in a seance, who anyway is calling
him forth, I forget...
okay Peter Sachsa...Leni is there (mostly to get milk for her kid) but
they also have Smaragd from IG Farben and the Nazi Rippenstoss
so they are there to listen to Rathenau, whose death at least the Nazi
Rippenstoss is among those responsible for
and he gives them a strong lecture that really ought to make them
think twice (but of course they don't, being Nazis and all)

was that before or after he said "Sieg Heil?"

for me mauve is a shade of purple that somehow lacks the joyousness of
real purple...
but that's subject to further information...good luck with your explorations!
