I for one think Robert Downey Jr. is a perfect Sportello and Anderson
is familiar enough with this kind of material to pull it off. I'm
thinking too that this would make a better movie than the novel was.
However, they really need a good choice for Bigfoot--that i'm coming
up empty on
not sure if folks here are following purported casting of that new
Cormac MccCarthy script The Counselor but if Cameron Diaz is in it and
she's supposed to be playing a very meaty-female lead role well sounds
like we're back to all the pretty horses awfulness cinema-wise.
and while we're talking film have high hopes for Prometheus the ridley
scott "prequel" to Alien out soon in theaters. I was sorely
disappointed with the Thing prequel that came out last year. this may
be my last prequel if the former flops as well as the Thing did.
