The 2 Wolf Hall books so far are extraordinary -  the article Mark referred to is linked above -  excellent article.   I've read A Place of Greater Safety and I was disappointed - I wanted more revolution,  fewer domestic tangles.   Bring Up the Bodies  (Wolf Hall series #2)  could NOT be more historical without being nonfiction.
