Pp 980-981. Frank discovers the giant luminous beetles known as cucuji. They
have names, Lovingly given them by the women who gathered and tamed them. 

Wonderful internal metaphor for the natural, Darwinian world? I say this
because of his famous quote:     The Divine Must have an inordinate fondness
for beetles--he made so many of them"
I found another wherein Darwin says he felt so good when he learned of new
rare beetles:
" like an old war horse at the sound of a trumpet" 

Over 100 new species just discovered.
