Like I said, I'm glad he's not grading me, I'd flunk. Can't find flaws in his argument because I can't understand him. To each his own.

Dear Bondwrath,
I know Mr. Eve and think that one would be fortunate to have him as an
nstructor. Your windbag insult is blown back in your face. If you find a flaw
n his argument then identify it; if you care not for his style or work, then
ead it not.
And as for your mail regarding my post, "there are all sorts of middle positions
nd nuances your argument leaves out. Por ejemplo, the effect of consolidation
n the publishing industry mentioned here, of late- Big Pub. What does that mean
or the poor struggling whore, er, writer, just starting out-furtive hand jobs
n an illegally parked car, under cctv surveillance, versus $1,000 a
ite pops in the penthouse with the governor?", I should direct you to John
hompson's "Merchants of Culture". Thompson analyzes publishing and draws on
ourdieu, who had studied the publsihing sector along with his work on
iterature (see the Rules of Art).
Y no seas tan gillipollas.
ciao
atthew Cissell

an you imagine being graded by this windbag? Good Lord! Probably a nice enough
ellow, but please, whatever happened to the three chord blues?
esides, I'm tired of all these claims of anti-Calvinism. Calvinism,
chmalvinism, what about the revocation of the Edict of Nantes- Here comes the
un King- everybody's happy, except maybe a Hugenot or three.
