So, the bush-vet term is tied to the dap. Dap has been around forever,
but was made more popular, more white majority during and after
Vietnam, as Soldiers, Black soldiers for the most part, mainstreamed
it. Today's high fives and bumps are Dap.

Here P introduces a big theme, an old one, entropy, and negative
entropy. Communication Entropy: here, the integrity of communication
is compromised by several factors that P will develop in the work.
Zoyd and I-24 may want to, may need to trust eachother. Though I-24
admires Zoyd, for the wrong reasons, Zoyd distrusts I-24 for some of
the right reasons, though he mis-reads him. That gut feeling, that
doper wisdom may be valuable or too much paranoia? This noise loop
spins till the shit hits the fan and a solidarity is forged. So,
communication, of blacks and whites, for example, of soldiers in
Vietnam, was entropic, as back home, though the war, sad to say, did
bring the men together, men who would not have met or spoken. They
learned to communicate. Zoyd, not a Vet of the Vietnam War, is,
nonetheless,a bush-vet of sorts. I-24 is not that off in his reading
afterall. In some famous photos we see US Soldiers with children. In a
sense, Prairie, like a child on the shoulders of those soldiers at
Tet, is saved, but now set free, she may be a Madam Butterfly, a Slit,
a Miss Saigon; she may call for Brock, her white daddy.
