Many artists are and were repugnant human beings.

And please explain how and when language became no more than a commodity, highlighting why this is the result of a "unification" of state and corporate interests.

These issues are not just political but directly affect the arts and many great
artists are powerful moral , philosophical, social and political thinkers.

The

current tendencies of state unification with corporate interests rob language
and image of importance as anything other than a commodity.

It is equally hard to argue that states should have no practical, evidence based
or moral accountability and it has historically proved far more dangerous.

Do citizens have any responsibility in your thinking? Should the people of the
world passively accept whatever fate comes from state policies? It seems to me
this attitude would rob the world of the heroic pursuits of human justice which
also mark the human story and have many beneficial results. To claim this
heritage is everyone's right.

These issues are not just political but directly affect the arts and many great
artists are powerful moral , philosophical, social and political thinkers. The
current tendencies of state unification with corporate interests rob language
and image of importance as anything other than a commodity. I am simply not
ready to concede that resistance is futile., or that a better future is not
possible through a renunciation of war and eco rape.

moral actors, hardly think states can. there's a constant push/pull but
reactions against state sponsored violence will also be that, reactive. and
there should be outcry and disgust. But it seems to me we're always fighting one
step behind events. I'm no more angry at the actions of the U.S. than any other.
It's a state like any other. we just believe our rhetoric and bullshit more.
It's all rather sad.
