Another movie,which I wish plisters could see
but which has only had university (and some German) distribution
shows H's lifelong lack of recanting AND his lifelong adulteries...
Talk about the return of the repressed...he was.....
and marriage vows meant nothing
so when interesting women came along
who would accept his advances, he did. 
 
he had no moral beliefs about denying sexual pleasure it is safe to satirize him with...
 
I bet he wanted AT LEAST a blowjob when he and Hannah met-up after the war........
and, only they know what is the full meaning of 'continuity" in their relationship. 
 
My sources are "pure speculation" based on life and the above.....
