Best books (fiction & non-fiction) of the 21st century?

Over the years I've paid close attention to Maligd's book
recommendations. Pale King was beautiful and magical, what talent that
DFW had, and I thank you MD, the metaphysical club, information the
flood, I can't remember all the others, Netherland too.
