the concept of "field", maybe?  i'm fascinated with that...

- taking Lindsey Noseworth's advice (as a known bloviator) to think
about trajectories.  Thus fate does map to the concept of trajectory,
throughout and especially at the far end of the rainbow, while
character maps to initial force, position, and mass and whatever
characteristics the projectile manifests during its travels

but, like, the nature of the field has determining or normative
properties w/r/t any individual trajectory within the field!
