The ugly truth of science

This is absurd. No one here did discriminate against scientists as human 
beings. So quit that crap! The debate is on modern science as a system 
essentially intermingled with control. And this is not an "unfounded 
stereotype" yet can be found in reality as well as in Pynchon's books. 
How do *you* think science is pictured in /Gravity's Rainbow/?
