NP but Italy and a clownish anarchist?

Bepe Grillo is leader of the right-of-centre Five-Star Movement in Italy. I believe Grillo himself was legally precluded from running for office due to manslaughter charges some years ago (motor vehicle crash, I believe), but his party is somewhat popular, no doubt due to his populist, anti-corruption platform.
He seems like a Colbert/Stewart type to me, except Bepe actually managed to get a decent independent movement out of it...
