BE: cracking DeepArcher

DeepArcher is on one punning level an homage to Ross MacDonald's Lew Archer whose
client's mysteries were solved as he, Lew, learned the buried familial secrets. 
 
It is a departure program for getting deeper into the mysteries inside the Deep Web...imho. 
On one level. 
 
I ain't (yet) convinced, ---but this is a pre-emptive post on the host-- as Carvill isn't yet (but differently),  that it means much more
in itself.

I'm increasingly of the view that there is nothing much to crack. But anyway.... 

My initial thoughts (which I I assume have been mooted before) on the possible 'meaning' of DeepArcher, i.e. departure, centered around death and/or Pynchon waving adieu to his readers. I hope not, because I'd hate to see him bowing out after laying such an egg as BE.
