Saw the Wizard of Oz in color for the first time as an adult, after a childhood of watching it solely on B&W TV. Although I finally understood the "What kind of horse is that?" line, I was disappointed by the cheesiness the color added. It's hard to believe that 3D would do anything but take that cheesiness to a whole new level. But you're saying that level is a deeper one? Maybe I'll consider it.
