The sheer depth of the cheesiness is astounding.

The overwhelming sense of nostalgia one feels for this fantasy is  
cranked up to "11" in this version.  Some pre-war stuff from Mrs.  
Quoad's best-hid tins.

Kinda like Abba on real good acid. Which is to say, the experience  
might head south for the uninitiated.
