       Gibberish. Or else a koan that Achtfaden isn’t equipped to master, a
transcendent puzzle that could lead him to some moment of light . . .
almost as good as:
       —What is it that flies?
       —Los!

I'm at a loss as to how to deal with the word "Los" here.  I don't get it.
Maybe that's the point.  Maybe some German P-Listers can shed some light on
this?
