Bleeding Edge & Seinfeld

One thread that I've already found, and that I'll be tracking as I go, is the Seinfeld angle. IIRC even the jacket blurb mentions Jerry S. My Upper West Side knowledge is scant, but I do of course think of the general terrain as Seinfeld country. Some of the narrative has also rung bells, and not always positively: the [minor early spoiler alert] stuff about sneaking a video camera into movie theaters to make pirate VHS tapes, with the clumsy and flawed results becoming popular as 'art' in their own right, was done as a Seinfeld episode way back in the 1990s.
