Entropic Text

I'm especially enchanted by the notion of "ray cats" mentioned in the
essay. Heard something about them a while ago and it stuck with me.
They're pretty much just cats genetically modified so that their fur
changes colour in the presence of radiation, but the kicker is that
even if all known languages have died out their significance will be
passed along by folklore and culture. A fascinating faith in the
longevity of mythic narratives, there.
