'Inherent Vice' misses the yearning and despair inside noirish shenanigans

Yes, I admit that I wasted my money and time on the film and the
book. Sure, a bad book can be made into a great play, or film, but
there are inherent vices in this book, the story and its characters,
its dialogue and its tone that just make it the worst thing Mr.
Pynchon has produced to date. The decline of Pynchon's power can't be
blamed for it, nor the immaturity, but the book and the film suffer
from some of Mr. Pynchon's worst habits and proclivities and lack the
greatness that allows to put up with these in his other works. Sorry,
it's a two thumbs down don't waste your money or time film. of course,
as P-fanatics we need to see it anyway, but even with low and in my
case negative expectations, I cam away from it thinking I'd been
scammed.
