The conspiracy buffs want to connect the plane deaths, and a coverup to the US.
Preliminary findings of the investigation indicate only that the plane
broke apart due to damage that came from outside, but what caused the
damage is not known, though the propaganda, the blame game, and the
conspiracy theories on all sides continues to cloud the larger issues
in and around Putin's shrinking chessboard.

Conspiracy theorists want to argue that the US is responsible for the
coup and the deaths in Ukraine.

Here they have more evidence but their wild exaggerations of the US
part and of its support of Neo-Nazis and their ilk undermines the
fairly obvious fact that the US is behind the plan to push NATO into
Ukraine and expand its influence to Russia's border.

And, they want to convince us that the plan to expand NATO and the EU
is the beginning of a New Cold War.

There is no new cold war. This is both a dangerous hyperbole and a
poor assessment of the facts. First off, there is no Soviet Union. The
old Pacts are gone and the new ones are fracturing as Russia proves
that she is still an economic disaster whose grip on pipelines and
other energy weapons is easily loosed by the US and its economic
partners.
