M&D

Personally thought M&D one of the best reads of the last couple decades,
for my money. Missed most of the juice the first time through, but 2 & then
3 just got better as I went. I think the early hint of the inherent vice of
glass is a cue to how far in advance Pynchon works. I've been heard to rave
about M&D, so I'll just say, have a good time!
