This is why I questioned Kelber's assertion that few Russian billionaires have USD accounts in the US. For all the international bad-mouthing of the USD in 2009, it was to the dollar that everyone fled. These guys can't possibly be keeping the majority of their billions in other than USD.
Not gonna hurt the US economy even a little. As I outlined before,
contrary to popular thinking, the US is a domestic economy driven by
internal consumption of US services and good. Someone, who obviously
knows nothing about currencies, said that a flight to some kind of
hard currency is expected and that alternatives to the $, the reserve
currency are part of this mix. Not even close. The P-List is a smart
bunch but you guys know little or nothing about these matters. Stick
to conspiracy.
