Fictional books within books

I sure am!

We were told that every reference within the BT must be annotated here, and
that it gets to be a damned nuisance after a while. Most of us being utterly
useless. But you never know when they'll need us, footnote soldiers. Middle
of a bedside-lamped night, or during the worst part of a desk spot bombardment
you know, it makes no difference to them back there.

I'd only like to know: do I ever get out much to… well, up to the Body Text?
