Well, actually this does not affect the translation much at all, since a
literal translation seems easy enough. It's just something I was wondering
about.
Which editions do you have at hand, Mark and Perry. The page and line
numbers I was quoting are supposed to be from the Viking edition. My own
paperback copy is a Penguin edition published in 2006, which curiously is
missing the last line on page 139.
