As a matter of fact I have that same penguin edition as you and
coincidentally I discovered the same missing line just today. It got me
wondering if there was anything else wrong with this edition. I don't have
any other copy to cross reference and that would be quite the daunting task
so I went ahead and ordered another, from Vintage, Google says it is
faithful to the first edition.
