NP - One sentence that shows how badly America failed in Afghanistan

Failed at what? The claim that the US failed assumes that the US's stated
goal there, or in Egypt, Syria, Libya...is to restore peace, to defend
allies and friends of freedom or whatever...or offer an opportunity for
democracy, build a nation state etc... is to be taken at face value. But
these kinds of goals are not achievable and everyone knows it. Moreover,
the US does not want peace or democracy in these areas of the world. So the
US succeeded in its mission. Its mission was to send a message: death,
blood, bodies, destruction, murder, mass murder, civil conflict and chaos.
The US has everyone at each other's throats.
The message was a reply to the one the Americans got on 11 September.
The world got the message. America will murder and incite murder on a grand
scale. It will drone anyone anywhere. It will torture. It will spend a
trillion dollars and lay waste vast regions of the globe. That was
America's goal. It is the Empire and it will act as one. In this,
organized murder, as in all else, it reigns supreme.
How foolish to call attention to flag ceremony. There is no danger there.
It's propaganda. The Empire has reached a point of diminishing Returns in
Afghanistan.
