Personally, Pynchon is only one part of my unapologetic fanboy triumvirate
(Pynchon, Kubrick, Zappa). Considering my Zappa fandom, I know a thing or
two about haters. Pynchon's got his share (Kubrick less so, but they're
very verbose - Pauline Kael and the execrable David "Biographical
Dictionary of Film" Thomson).
Anyway... love is love is love. And I love my triumvirate with all my heart
and intellectual capacity (for whatever that's worth).
