N & D Deep Duck's Tempest

I think I noticed a couple allusions to The Tempest early in M & D,
including the one I mentioned from the opening chapter.
Yet, I have not reread nor reseen it for this read---but I will try to
see this production below and WILL reread it...but this review
emphasizes the racial undertones.......and reminds me that many ape
comparisons
are in the play-----remember Parlor--Apes from Chap 1?

I am more sure than ever, which is not yet certain at all, that TRP
has fully internalized this work too and drawn from it with his usual
allusive genius.

I recommend reading or rereading that late and great Shakespeare play.
