Slothrop the Leprechaun

The more Slothrops the better, as far as I'm concerned!
My personal rainbow/rocket up-then-down has a sort of complement that goes down to the realm of ancient, clarified death (oil), then up (for rocket-fuel, for an obvious instance) and its colors (like mauve, for another obvious instance); creating a sort of eye of Horus (Anubis' brother; why not?) sort of shape..., or... even better yet (I can hear the groans already...) a lens!
What do you think Slothrop was expecting?
