Through a Shakespeare-like lens. His history plays and a few others
are....less most say than the major plays.......

The major plays are major because of deepest, widest themes.....

So, Gravity's Rainbow, Against the Day, Mason & Dixon (sic) and V.
and arguably Bleeding Edge (NY but cyberspace global)

and the California novels (and maybe BE) are "minor' because ONLY America???

Crying of Lot 49, Vineland, Inherent Vice (and arguably the NY novel
Bleeding Edge)
