A Ranking of Pynchon's Novels

It is a little like that joke about a room full of people, someone
shouts out a number and everyone falling about laughing. 20 years ago
there'd have been flame wars but the regulars are all that much older
and more tired. Opinionated passion replaced by middle aged moderation.
Feel free to try and fire them up, much more entertaining for us
irregulars, and often more intellectually stimulating.
