Remembering the late seventies and early eighties gets weirder every
year for me. Currently we have fads for little-c media, 'paperad'
samizdat zines and hand-decorated, limited edition cassette tapes
being traded through the mails, all being produced by kids who haven't
any personal context for Octobriana or Tellus. While I may miss the
old world I take heart knowing it has odd little dopplegangers
scampering undergound, even now. I'll take scarcity over industry
whereever I can find it.
