GR translation: reaches into the true Night of the Other

Byron is immortal, the light(bulb) that is an eternal witness, connected to
a web of all other witness-bulbs of light.  They die, but he knows their
information.  They live on through him.

Like Slothrup, his imortality was unintended, feared.  They cannot kill
him, but they will do their best to keep him hidden.  He is their
Frankenstien, their creation that accidentally lives eternally, beyond
their puny lives.
