GR translation: three-foot falls at the edge of sleep

Thanks, John.  That's exactly what I was thinking.  I do try to err of the
literal side most of the time, although it's not always possible.  I will
do my best though.  I ask because I want to know if I am interpreting
something correctly, or if there's something I am missing, which is often.
I might still choose to translate it as literally as I can, but the
interpretation will definitely affect word choice, etc.
