The recent movie *Ex Machina* is a great examination of these themes and
more. Part of what makes it so good is that despite having what *I* think
is a pretty obvious take on the whole issue, the movie is not at all
didactic. It presents a lot of stuff and leads you to draw your own
conclusions, and whether you end up with or against Dr. Richardson on the
issue of sexual stereotypes, or with or against David on human-centric
solipsism, and so on, says a lot about you.
