Several critics have mapped out birthdays and horoscopes and the maps
and rockets,  interfaces, Interfacr science and history (in The
Cambridge), the human life span from birth to death and so on. The
mapping on to stencil is useful and how Pynchon has characters map on
to eachopther... And, speaking of fathers and sons and stencils,
though I sometimes think P uses a surrealist's Aerography and math,
sort in the way that Man Ray does, but more on this later, so speaking
of fathers and sons, Stencil and his old man plus Benny, then add in
Oedipa and Puritan Legacy and Slothrop here is mapped on to Henry
Adams and His Father who was sent to London by Lincoln and dragged his
son.

How does that work?
