I, for one, really like the interbook connections within Pynchon. thanks, monte.

And that elemental force. Pirate, who has linked his great affair with Roger's and we remember he can imagine other people's fantasies, we can see Roger & Mexico , "Fucking the last ( already the last) day's light away down afternoon to dusk, hours of fucking, too in love with it to uncouple"....and then, p. 37 , more of that ' magic' that gets defined by Roger.
